There will never be a perfect time to change residency. It is nice to have the wealth that will allow you to have more than one residency. It is difficult to sever or even lengthen the ties that bind. One derives “strength & comfort” from familiarity. The analytic fallacy of normalcy affects many of us in our decision making. Even a rich man like Trump w/ powerful friends is having trouble weathering the power of our Big brother. This example & lesser ones should motivate us but inertia & procrastination weights us down. Learning new culture & language is essential to developing new feelings of comfort & can also add strength & safety to our new location. Think of it as increasing our sphere of influence & knowledge has helped me take baby steps.

I read several years ago that dalio bought 387 million of gold bullion..

I don't know what he calls the last four years but to me it was a war on the people already. I sincerely doubt that Americans take up arms against each other. It becomes more unlikely every day. However, our government has been actively engaged in a war upon us, out in the open with mRNA.

The vax is different. Both parties supported it. So, while it's awful it doesn't really factor into the civil war calculus. Dalio's focus is on the struggle for the reigns of power - red vs. blue.

Your making my point. The Vax was delivered by our government to injure the people. All of this Red vs Blue violence is not widespread or a threat. They just have those two fighting it out while not noticing what is really going on, but its just a show to them. The real war is on us.

Jim Rickards had his own perspective of Dalio and his Dem hedge fund cronies on Daniela’s show the other day. I think his group wants it so they can make money off of it and thus talks about it. I am more worried about the illegals being the UN army to go against the citizens and also being hired by cities police force than a civil war between citizens here. Unfortunately most Dems got the jabs and more and more will be dealing with turbo cancers heart problems and death in the coming year or 2. Esp the ones that got 3 shots or more. So the culling will continue. I don’t really worry about the Dems as they are also the ones that don’t have the guns. And many will be too busy on both sides dealing with higher inflation. No I don’t take much stock in Dalio just cuz he’s a billionaire.

As men get older they seem to see more extremes.

My worries are nuclear war, high inflation and surveillance.

Just heard they just off the water to farms in Idaho and they are using eminent domain in Idaho for las grabs from farms.

They did resolve that issue in Idaho I read. iirc, it was Saudi Arabia or some ME country that was taking it, just using the Government as a shied, but it was resolved fairly quickly after that got exposed.

The UN might be a big deal at some point, but we will see it elsewhere first before here. And don't worry too much about it all. Take care of getting outside of the system and stand back and watch it fall with detachment.

I’m fine. I grew up in DC and lived in NYC 28 years and now I’m in Montana wit my guns. I buy my meat local and so yea I don’t put much stock into Dalio. I’m not crazy about Rickards another inside the beltway know it all but I liked his take on Dalio. Like I said further surveillance and that shit is the worst. I worry for my sons not me. They have no interest in going over to Ukraine to help those Nazis And all governments are shit now.

We agree. The war is on us.

But, I wouldn’t underestimate their ability to turn Americans against one another. We can see the seeds being sown.

Everyone must never believe their real enemy is the state. It’s Putin! Or China! Or MAGA!

Yep, all true. I think we will see succession attempts by whomever loses too.

Dalio is well intended hedging his bets on the moderacy of the DNC, unfortunately history demonstrates the party faithful are usually consumed in the altruistic pyre. His analysis of the current position vis a vis history is accurate.
