Wouldn't it make sense to excise the Qs from the S&P and Measure them against themselves as Ultra Techs? They are the most frenetic disruptive business forces creating the most change in man's push forward. Can these companies be successfully compared to a history that can not recognize them? We study the changes in most sectors and recognize the reasons for their volatility, but how do you factor in the effects of the Internet Of Things or a more sophisticated AI or Quantum computing? We are talking about orders of magnitude disruption. I see the price discovery of the MAGS and the Q's ongoing, completely separated from the mundane businesses outside of advanced tech. What would all the charts say about the present if you took this block out of the studies? It may still predict caution but will not stop the price discovery of the burgeoning ultra techs. my $.02.
