I am on my third trip into Argentina in the last 14 months. If making a few dollars in the USA was not required, I have enough to do in the country to stay for years.
Yesterday we went into the Provence of Buenos Aires on hwy 7. There is a very nice outdoor mall that is new construction.
On this trip we went to Mendoza for a week. I have never found such a nice place to be as a vineyard. We visited four and there are over 1,000.
My fantasy is to have a great old underground wine cellar. Our views of the Andes were amazing.
I will be back to Mendoza in a year but my flight back to Florida is in a few days.
If you feel trapped in your country, you are a prisoner of your own in ability to take action.
My cousins are all Argentines so I do have more of a family experience.
When I return maybe in August of 2025 the Argentine Provence of San Juan will be on my list.
Australia is not the place to be. I have a friend who could not get out of the country during the Covid because he did not take the jab. Could not go to the airport, or much of anywhere else. Their rules are very strict about putting anything on line considered a protest, and they are getting worse. They took away the guns with a "buyback" program. Odd that a country colonized by prisoners and outlaws now accepts such rot.
This is from my sister: "I have an old island friend visiting.. a Sundstrom actually... who married a man from Texas and they live in Texas but inherited her family home here on one of the historic farms (there's more to that but... later)
Their son (in Texas) is employed by a company who is contracted to build something at the border so he recently visited the site.
He shared that illegals are coming in and are required to give their names (Jose?). Literally... just their names.... and are each presented w/a debit card worth $2800.
This is first hand. Well... second actually. But I believe them and they are shocked.
And... the same illegal could come back in w/a different name and receive more debit cards.
Wow is what my friends and I are thinking. Just wow."

A very nice walk in Mendoza. I think it is a fountain expressing Dante’s inferno.

Why is Doug's voice coming out of Matt's "picture, " and vice versa?
