Just wondering - when I was investing in silver in the 70s, the gold to silver ratio was much lower 80 - I think somewhere between 16 and 25. Could the shift be to less industrial use because we don't need silver nitrate for film anymore?
Silver is used in electronics, clothing, aerospace, lighting- it’s a highly manipulated market if you dig beneath the surface. Controlled by the derivatives market. People will make a case against that but it’s manipulated down. Don’t believe me? Do a simple google search of J.P. Morgan manipulating the silver market and see what you find
Silver is primarily an industrial metal. Silver goes up like an elevator & comes down like the Challenger with engines at full throttle. Investors need to be very nimble.
