If we had of taken care of business in the 50s and the 60s by getting rid of socialism then; we would not be in the problems that we are in now. We simply were asleep at the wheel. No president or congress is going to be able to do it all in 4 years, but we can start. I wish people studied the history of the candidates before they vote. Back when Hillary Clinton was in college, she did her thesis on Saul Alinsky. The current Harris and her crew are all Marxists, NOT Democrats. Trump cannot be a miracle worker, but he loves America, and refuses to take a salary because he does not need it . He is in it to HELP, and is not drunk with power and prestige. He already had that. He was naive, and actually thought the president ran the country, the first time around. Yes, people need to take personal responsibility ALL over the world, and they have not. Thank God, the people are wakeing up, and realizing that this has been going on since we formed a country. We do not need unions, a bad school system, the Feds, the 3 lettered agencies, open borders and dependence on other countries. Maybe this is a beginning!

What a novel concept!! Personal responsibility!!

"They" will not do what you want them to do...you have to take responsibility for yourself and your actions.

Yes, in this day and age, it seems to be, sad to say.

Well, I did vote today in the hopes that Trump will follow through with making RFK JR. and Elon Musk a large part of his administration. Elon slashing government and its drunken, profligate spending and RFK JR. reforming or slashing the FDA and other out of control government agencies is what I hope will happen. To bypass this possibility, however remote, by NOT voting, is in essence, voting for the status quo and thus another vote FOR the tyranny we have already experienced.

Good for you. I certainly didn’t mean to discourage anyone from voting. My issue is with people who use politics as a substitute for personal action and responsibility—that’s all. I also really hope you end up being right, and that in four years, we see those wonderful changes you envision when it’s time to vote again. It’s just that the historical track record of politicians—and Trump is one—doesn’t exactly back this up. Either way, I appreciate your perspective on this.

It’s a long shot, I admit, but let’s hope and pray.

Just think...All that debt is based upon FAKE MONEY having no value except to 'The Fed' and the City of London's Central Banker Family Coven with their BIS in Basel, Switzerland collecting it.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING OF VALUE BEHIND THE DOLLAR BEYOND THE NORTH AMERICAN RESOURCES AND THOSE THE NOBILITY CONTINUES TO VIEW ITS SLAVES; THE 'OWNED HUMAN CATTLE HERD' FROM WHICH IT MAY DEPOPULATE THE SURPLUS POPULATION AT WILL IN WHATEVER WAY PSYCHOPATHIC SADISTS DESIRE.

Does this mean the United States may dismantle the whole system to erase the debt from all the FOREIGN AID THE TAXPAYER HAS BEEN ROBBED/LAUNDERED OF IN THE LAST 76 YEARS and again make its own money apart from the Demon Worshiping Pedophiles, Cannibals and Vampires?

Oh the ire I’ve faced by opting to not vote as I do not consent to tyranny

I only vote so I can complain about the politics! I can't imagine my vote means anything, as I'm cancelled by a neighbor.

Personal responsibility...no one cares as much about your well being as yourself...be a good citizen of humanity.

So have I, many times. So, I know the feeling. It’s a personal choice, though. I would never discourage anyone from voting—that wasn’t the goal of this piece either—but rather to ensure they don’t use it as a cop-out for taking action themselves. My grandpa used to say it’s better to be a responsible person under a bad government than an irresponsible one under a supposedly good one.
